At the Maywood Racquets Club Junior Winter Camp, players will not only improve their tennis skills, but they will also make new friends and have a blast on the court!

Running for four days during the Christmas holidays, this program offers players the chance to train, compete, and continue improving in a positive and engaging environment.

We welcome players of all levels — from beginners to advanced competitors — with focused instruction and match play designed to help each player develop their game and confidence.

Development Camp (Ages 5-12) Red, Orange, Green Ball Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Our Development Camp is perfect for younger players in the Red, Orange, and Green Ball programs. Using age-appropriate equipment like smaller courts and lower-bouncing balls, this camp makes tennis accessible and fun while teaching essential skills and fundamentals. This progressive system is proven to build confidence and set kids up for long-term success in the sport.

Our experienced coaches tailor instruction to meet the needs of each player, ensuring a supportive and productive environment. Whether your child is just starting or preparing for competitive play, our camps provide a fantastic opportunity for growth, learning, and fun.

2025 Winter Camp

The 2025 Winter Camp runs for 4 days beginning on December 26 and ending on December 30. There will be no camp on December 28.

Pricing is dependent on the number of days in which a child is enrolled, as noted below.

Enrollment: All inquiries and sign-ups can be made by emailing Kai Husemann at juniorclinics@maywoodracquetsclub.com.

Camp Placement

We understand that a child's development is influenced by a variety of factors such as innate ability, amount of practice, and physical attributes. Therefore, we don't think it's appropriate to limit a child's progress in a class solely based on their age. While we do provide broad age ranges as a general reference, we recommend considering the class prerequisites or recommendations for your child when registering.

Evaluations: We may require an evaluation for appropriate placement.
